Resumo: Madrid is an international hub for science and culture. The theme of our meeting is Global Health, and we prioritize the importance of family as a unit, mothers and children. The Congress will feature state-of-the-art plenary sessions on the use of genomics in perinatal medicine, the role of the microbiome in health and disease, the developmental origins of health and disease, mechanisms responsible for premature labor and neonatal injury, and clinically relevant aspects for the management and diagnosis of perinatal infection. The program will contain a series of special lectures focusing on exciting new developments in perinatal medicine, along with multiple parallel sessions of important subjects in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology. There will also be pre-Congress courses the day before the meeting.
